AJBTS Walks & Talks


I hold walks and talks workshops and courses in our areas at Rhondda in RCT.

Walks and Talks workshops will include:

Foraging Skills.

Learning to identify edible, medicinal and poisonous plants, tree ID.

Natural Navigation. Learning to read the natural signs to find your way home.

This is fantastic for calming anxieties, good for the well being and also finding out things about your soundings and adding to your knowledge about Bushcraft and yourself.


Works and Talks Workshop:

This is a two to three hour workshops that will cover different subjects each week about:

Woodlands , mountains, foraging, well-being, Whittling (Carving) and much more.

Cost £4.00pp


Works and Talks Course this is over a 6 month period and is a certificated course:

Over the weeks, each walk will cover a different subject of discussion and you will participate in some of the following gaining a n accreditation in Bushcraft at the end of the course.


The syllabus covered will include:


· Fire lighting

· Shelter building

· Traps and tracking

· Preparing food (Fin, Feather and Fur)

· Campfire cooking

· Natural navigation

· Safe tool use

· Water sourcing

· Natural Cord

· Whittling (Carving)

· Knife Skills

· Foraging

· Tool care and knife law

All walks will be held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with loads of fun and I will give you lots of hands on experience.


This is a 6 month course
